1. You can contact us anytime for your Canter Safari booking. If you contact us at least 30 days before your visit then there will be a very good chance of availability.
2. You will need to provide your ID card, your 1 passport size picture in soft copy(if you are travelling in a group then we will need a picture of the person who you want to be your group leader) and details of kids (under 10 yrs) visiting with you.

Dhikala Canter Safari is a great jungle safari experience. It takes approximately 5 hours to get through the Dhikala zone.

Dhikala has the most beautiful landscape which consists of dense Sal forest, large grassland, a narrow valley and various channels of the Ramganga river.

And within that time frame, your eyes will see some of the most mesmerizing things of nature which will make you left shell shocked. You might know you can get a rare sight of the great Bengal tiger.

If you choose Canter Safari Booking for visiting the Dhikala zone then here are the important things you need to know about:

• Canter is like a mini-bus which can carry up to 18 people at a time.
• You will need a permit for your Canter Safari which we will provide you or you can book it online from the official website of Jim Corbett National Park.
• You can board your Canter at Dhangiri Gate of the Dhikala Zone for which timings are:6:00 Am to 11:30 Am for Morning Safari and 12:00 to 5:30 pm for Evening Safari.
• Your Canter Safari tour will be approximate 5 hours and during this time you get through the heart of Dhikala Zone 35 Kms inside the jungle.
• You are allowed to carry your food (only vegetarian) & drinks (water, coffee, tea, etc.) with you for the Canter Safari but you need to carry a disposable bag so that you don’t litter inside the national park
• You will also get half an hour break (in between your jungle Safari) at the Canteen of Dhikala zone where you can have a meal or snacks
• You can not take non-vegetarian food or alcoholic drinks inside the park. It is a punishable offence and you may end up paying hefty fines or even be jailed.
