Ramnagar is a small town situated in the district of Nainital in Uttarakhand. It is located approximately 65 km. from Nainital and acts as the gateway to the infamous Jim Corbett National Park.

Being in the proximity of the National Capital City of India, Ramnagar is easily accessible through the Railway, Roadway and Airways routes. The total distance of Ramnagar from Delhi is around 265 km.

There are several ways to reach Ramnagar from Delhi, the most popular being by road and train. By road, it is a relatively short journey of around 6 hours, and there are many options for public and private transport.

The train journey is a bit longer at around 8 hours, but it is a very scenic route and the trains are generally very comfortable. The air journey is the shortest, but it is also the most expensive option.

The Roadway is the best option to reach Ramnagar from Delhi as the road trip has its allure, especially, in the pleasant weather.

You can either travel in your private vehicle or take the car/ tempo traveller/ Bus service which is easily available from Delhi.

Additionally, the weather is pleasant and the scenery is beautiful, making it the perfect time to explore this town.
Monsoon is not a good time to visit Ramnagar, during this time park is closed and also you can not avail all these adventurous activities due to rainfall.
