Jhirna Zone is operational for Jeep safaris throughout the year except during the monsoon seasons from July to September when the safaris are booked only subject to the road and weather conditions.

A maximum of 30 vehicles are allowed to get into the Jhirna zone at each shift in the morning and evening (only 2 shifts are allowed).

How to reach?

Jhirna Zone is located at the southern corner of Corbett national park and is approx 20kms away from the park.

The entry gate for the Jhirna Tourism Zone is the popular Dhela gate which is 15 kilometres away from the Ramnagar town.

Visitors can reach the Jhirna safari zone via the nearest railway station and bus stand at Ramnagar. The nearest airport is the Pantnagar airport or Delhi IGI airport.

Jhirna tourism zone is open for day safaris throughout the year, however subject to road and weather conditions of course.
