Garjia Zone is the newly open zone for Jungle Safari in Jim Corbett National Park. This Eco-Tourism zone is adjacent to Bijrani Zone and the Entry gate for both zones is the same.

Jeep Safari in Garjia is very famous among tourists because it is one of the most Tiger populated zones of the Park.

Garjia is very rich in flora & fauna and sighting wild animals here is quite good. It is one of the most preferred zones among tourists cause it is located at 2 Kms distance from Ramnagar.

Garjia zone is now 2nd most sought jungle safari after Dhikala. The landscape and beauty of this place are quite admired by wildlife lovers.

You can spot several types of Deer (Spotted Deer, Para, The Sambar, Barking deer), Jackal, Monitor Lizard, Wild boar Monkeys, Langoors, peacocks, and Wild Hen while enjoying your Jeep safari in Garjia.

When it comes to flora and fauna the Sal forest, Bali flower, Kusum flower, and Mahua trees are the main attractions of Garjia Zone.

How to book online for Jeep safari in Garjia?

For booking your Jeep Safari in the Garjia zone, you need to have an entry permit for the safari to show to the forest officials at the entrance.

Booking for a Jeep safari in the Garjia zone is done based on first come-first serve and is also subject to availability.

Therefore, it is always recommended to book your entry permit in advance before reaching Corbett National Park.

Indian nationals visitors are allowed to book safari entry permits online in advance for a maximum of 30 days whereas for foreign nationals it is a maximum of 90 days.

You have to fill Online Safari Booking form available at www.OnlineCorbettBooking.com along with their photo id proof (driving license/voter id/pan card) and complete details of the person (gender, full name, birth date etc) and then send the booking request.

How to reach?

Entry for a Jeep safari in the Garjia zone is from Amanda Gate which is located just 2kms away from Ramnagar.

After entering through the entry gate, you cross about 5 km of buffer zone before reaching the core area of the Garjia zone.

The entry gates for the Garjia zone and Bijrani zone are the same.

The nearest rail connectivity is just 5 km away at Ramnagar Railway station. The nearest airport is the Pantnagar airport.

You can also book the Jeep safari in the Garjia zone from the Ramnagar office of Park authorities of Corbett Park.

Jeep Safari in Garjia Price

The Garjia Jeep Safari Tariff includes the cost of Jeep, Driver, Permit, Guide charges and service charges).

The prices are provided as below:
Indian: INR 4500/Jeep (Maximum 6 persons)
Foreigner: INR 7500/Jeep (Maximum 6 persons)

Jeep Safari in Garjia Timings

Timings of Day Jeep safari in Garjia Tourism Zone are provided as below:

Winter Safaris Timings:
Morning safari Entry- 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM
Evening Safari Entry- 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM

Summer Safaris Timings:
Morning Safari Entry- 6:00 AM to 9:30 AM
Evening Safari Entry- 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM

The Garjia Safari zone remains open for the day visitors from 15th October to 30th June while the night stay is allowed from 15th November to 14th June.
